Analytical Development Intern

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role are to:

+ Conduct and execute hands-on laboratory work and development activities;

+ Develop and conduct assay, related compounds and dissolution analytical methods of Drug Products, APIs and Excipients to characterize these materials;

+ Develop and conduct analytical methods for a variety of formulations, including solid dosage forms, liquids, topicals, and gummies;

+ Conduct data analysis and interpret results in order to present within AD and to cross-functional teams;

+ Leverage literature reviews, existing monographs and chromatography modelling programs to enable fast and efficient method development;

+ Execute experimental stability studies to make quick formulation decisions;

+ Interact regularly with all members of the formulation team and other functional groups within the Development Center.

WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

+ Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Graduate degree in Chemistry or related science field;

+ Hands-on laboratory experience;

+ Ability to work accurately and efficiently on multiple projects under tight timelines;

+ Strong computer skills;

+ Good communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Rising Junior or Senior.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately between $23.20 to $44.20. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary (or salary range) is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
