Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is currently seeking a Staff Geotechnical Engineer with 1 to 3 years of experience for our Greensboro, North Carolina office.

Primary Responsibilities:

+ + Perform engineering calculations, including settlement, bearing capacity, lateral earth pressures, pavement section designs, slope stability, etc.

+ Provide task support to the Construction Observation & Testing group

+ Coordinate and manage projects and review laboratory testing

+ Complete accurate geotechnical exploration reports

+ Generate scopes and fees for new projects and prepare complete proposals and budgets

Requirements:

+ Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field of study; EIT a plus!

+ 1-3 years of relevant experience

+ Own Transportation, valid driver's license and good driving record

+ Enjoy working outdoors

+ NICET, ACI and/or other certifications desired
