About the Role: Director of Assisted Living
As an Director of Assisted Living, you’ll play a key role in supporting the health, happiness, and daily experience of the residents at Brio in Johnston.
As a Director of Assisted Living, you will:
+ Lead and manage Assisted Living services, ensuring programs meet residents’ clinical and psycho-social needs.
+ Collaborate across departments to maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and corporate regulations.
+ Hire, evaluate, and oversee Resident Associates and CNAs, ensuring effective 24-hour staffing and scheduling.
+ Develop and maintain procedures for daily operations, resident assessments, and service plans.
+ Coordinate wellness and social activities that promote resident independence, choice, and family involvement.
+ Monitor resident conditions, facilitate case management, and support integration of new residents into the community.
Opening
+ Monday-Friday (8:00am-5:00pm)
+ On-Call Rotation (one weekend a month)
Qualifications:
+ Ability to coach, manage, and lead a team to provide high-level services.
+ State of Iowa RN License

Qualifications
Experience
Required
+ 1 year: Three to five years of previous nursing leadership experience.
+ Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all applicable state and federal regulations, quality assurance, compliance, clinical and social modeling. Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures.
Preferred
+ Demonstrate the ability to actively advocate and model resident-directed care within the health center environment. Must demonstrate a passion to act as a champion for change within the industry, the ability to lead others through change and the ability to make decisions that lead toward new approaches and ways of thinking.
