**Business Development Manager** — Vitamin E and Related Product Lines
**Location:** Any ADM US Office / Remote
Position Summary:
ADM is seeking a dynamic and results-driven **Business Development Manager** to lead and expand our global Vitamin E business. This role will play a pivotal part in driving growth, profitability, and innovation within the Vitamin E product portfolio, while also supporting related product lines, including Mixed Tocopherols, Phytosterols, Isoflavones, and Fibersol.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive growth strategy, identifying market opportunities, driving customer engagement, and ensuring alignment with ADM’s broader business objectives. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of market dynamics, excellent leadership and organizational skills, and the ability to foster cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Develop and implement a 5-year growth plan for the Vitamin E product portfolio, targeting key customers, market segments, and applications.
+ Identify new business opportunities and drive the expansion of ADM’s Vitamin E products into untapped markets.
+ Build and execute strategies to differentiate ADM’s Vitamin E offerings in a competitive global marketplace.
+ Stay ahead of market trends and proactively adapt strategies to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Revenue, Profitability, & Growth Optimization:
+ Partner with sales and marketing teams to maximize revenue and optimize profitability for branded vitamin E products.
+ Analyze market dynamics to identify and prioritize key growth drivers, ensuring alignment with ADM’s financial and operational goals.
+ Continuously evaluate the product lines performance and implement strategies to enhance profitability and market share.
Market Intelligence & Analysis:
+ Develop a deep understanding of competitive market dynamics at the supplier, customer, and consumer levels.
+ Gather, analyze, and communicate market intelligence to inform decision-making and support strategic planning.
+ Monitor leads and identify opportunities for product innovation and market expansion.
+ Execute special projects to address evolving market needs and challenges.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
+ Partner with marketing, CD&D, Platform, and cross-functional teams to develop compelling value propositions for the Vitamin E product line.
+ Support the development and commercialization of new products, leveraging ADM’s innovation capabilities and external partnerships.
+ Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and collaboration across all business functions.
+ Act as key liaison between sales force and product development teams to drive successful customer engagement and sales outcomes.
Customer Engagement & Brand Development:
+ Build and nurture value-added partnerships with key customers, fostering long-term relationships and trust.
+ Increase ADM’s brand equity by driving awareness and adoption of the Vitamin E product line among consumers and customers.
+ Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, offering insights, solutions, and expertise to address their specific needs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
+ **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or a related field.
+ **Experience:** Minimum of 5 years of sales, business development, or product management experience, preferably within the Vitamin E or ingredient industry.
+ **Leadership & Project Management:** Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
+ **Communication Skills:** Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders.
+ **Market Knowledge:** Strong understanding of the health and nutrition ingredient business, particularly the Vitamin E market, and a willingness to learn the scientific and technical aspects of the products.
+ **Technical Proficiency:** Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Power BI, Salesforce, and other business tools.
+ **Travel:** Willingness to travel up to 40% across North America to meet with customers, attend industry events, and collaborate with internal teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience in the Vitamin E, Mixed Tocopherols, or Phytosterols markets.
+ Familiarity with ADM’s product portfolio and its applications in the food, beverage, and health and wellness industries.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
The pay range for this position is expected to be between:

$121,100.00 - $216,000.00
Salaried Incentive Plan:
The total compensation package for this position will also include annual bonus and a long-term incentive plan
