    What You'll Be Doing

    + Operate dredge equipment to extract sand and gravel safely and efficiently

    + Monitor dredging operations and adjust equipment to maintain optimal performance

    + Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on dredge machinery

    + Record production data and report any equipment issues or safety concerns

    + Collaborate with plant personnel to ensure smooth day shift operations

    + Ability to operate and maintain heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner

    + Strong attention to detail and situational awareness in dynamic environments

    + Willingness to learn and follow operational procedures and safety protocols

    + Capability to work independently and as part of a team

    + Physical ability to perform tasks in outdoor and water-based settings

    Conditions of Employment

    + Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check

    Work Environment

    + Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

    Physical Demands of the Job

    + Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and lift materials up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shift

    + Manual dexterity to operate dredge controls and perform equipment maintenance

    + Visual and auditory ability to monitor equipment and surroundings for safety

    + Capability to work on or near water, including climbing on floating platforms

    + Endurance to perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions

    + Starting Pay $26.00 per hour DOE
