    Citizens Bank is seeking a Summer Analyst to join the Subscription Finance & Services team in Charlotte, NC. Summer Analysts will work closely with the team’s senior Relationship Managers who oversee a portfolio of private equity fund relationships of varying size and complexity. The Subscription Finance & Services team is part of Capital Markets & Advisory and is the central contact for banking services provided to investment funds managed by leading private equity managers.

     

    This position offers an excellent opportunity to join a high performing, rapidly growing, and entrepreneurial team within one of the largest regional banks in the country. Through this experience, Summer Analysts will gain insight into the issues and considerations for private equity funds as they raise third-party equity, deploy capital across investments and ultimately liquidate those positions over time. Summer Analysts will also develop direct working relationships with current and prospective private equity clients, professionals at other banks, and work first-hand with external legal counsel to negotiate and close new transactions.

     

    At the conclusion of the 10-week internship program, high-performing Summer Analysts will be considered for a potential offer for direct employment into the Subscription Finance & Services team (post-graduation).

    Job Responsibilities

    Key tasks & responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    + Support senior Relationship Managers in the business development of subscription lines for private equity managers with $2BN+ assets under management

    + Prepare marketing materials for client meetings and research prospective clients

    + Assist with modeling and collateral due diligence to develop borrowing base solutions

    + Develop the ability to understand and evaluate legal documentation

    + Assist in the underwriting approval process and ongoing portfolio management

    Qualifications:

    + Successfully complete a video interview assessment within 4 days of receiving the link. If not completed within the timeframe, your application will be automatically withdrawn from consideration.

    + Current students enrolled in an undergraduate bachelor’s program, graduating between Winter 2026 – Spring 2027 OR current students enrolled in a graduate program, graduating between Winter 2026 – Spring 2027

    + Minimum GPA of 3.2; Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.5

    + Please include your cumulative GPA on your resume.

    + Relevant work experience, leadership experience or coursework in Finance, Accounting or Economics is preferred but all majors will be considered.

    + Strong analytical skills and software skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency is required.

    + Candidates must currently be a U.S. Resident to be eligible for this program.

    + Please note that U.S. Immigration sponsorship or work visa is not available for intern / full time Analyst positions and candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the U.S.
