JOB SUMMARY
As a member of the Finance Business Partnership (FBP) for Customer, the Manager, Finance – Marketing, Data Activation and Personalization (MDAP) will support the execution of financial management processes which support the financial and operational business strategies and plans designed to enable Customer to achieve its business objectives. Providing support to the financial management of MDAP he/she will serve as the primary finance business partner to assigned MDAP leaders.
The Manager, Finance – MDAP will also provide proactive support to ensure the financial management, reporting, and analysis needs of Customer are met through effective partnerships with the various Global Finance groups. He/she will establish and maintain strong relationships with Customer Stakeholders to help effectively address business issues, identify, and implement appropriate solutions, influence, as appropriate, business decisions, and improve overall business results.

Education and Experience
_Required_
+ Baccalaureate degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline required
+ Minimum 5 years relevant professional experience
_Preferred_
+ Knowledge of Marriott programs and services, and funding sources
+ Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and working knowledge of Power BI or other business intelligence tools
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
+ Provide financial leadership to assigned MDAP leaders; review analysis and forecasts, variances to forecasts, actual spend, and other issues that impact various funding sources. Resolve discrepancies; develop and implement actionable recommendations and responses to address identified business challenges and opportunities.
+ Support the ongoing monitoring and analysis of the costs to ensure funding and cost allocation methodologies are appropriately and consistently applied and spending levels are aligned with MDAP priorities and plans; as well as activities related to the development and implementation of new programs, services, and initiatives to include development of complex activity-based cost models and analyses of funding approaches that are in compliance with management and franchise agreements.
+ Partner with Marriott Business Services (MBS) and other Global Finance groups, as appropriate, to provide routine and ad-hoc operating results and analysis to Customer staff.
+ Partner with the FBP Customer team and the appropriate Global Finance groups, as appropriate, to develop and/or modify reporting tools to ensure Customer operating results, programs and services funding and costs are accurately reflected in company financials.
+ Partner with Marketing Finance Operations (MFO) team and accounts payable staff processing invoices on behalf of MDAP Leadership and their respective teams. Ensure accuracy of invoice processing, accounting and recording. Implement financial controls in accordance with accounting policies and procedures to safeguard accounts payables for MDAP teams.
+ Support return on investment analyses and other projects in support of MDAP initiatives. Follow up with responsible parties when necessary, on issues and variances that need explanations and resolution. Assist in the reporting of the Initiative process and related analysis.
+ Manage the enterprise-wide annual budget for assigned MDAP stakeholders. Support the timely and effective execution of the enterprise-wide annual budget, forecast, and long-range planning processes (LRP), partnering with FBP FOCEHL, Customer stakeholders, and Marriott Business Services (MBS).
+ Perform analyses related to the development and implementation of new programs, services and initiatives in Customer. Support the development of funding approaches/recommendations compliant with management and franchise agreements.
+ Support reporting & analysis needed for Programs & Services Agreement Compliance (PSAC) Advisory Committee approval.
+ Support the completion of the annual compliance processes/procedures (i.e., Prepared by Client workpapers, Agreed Upon Procedures, Federal Disclosure Document, Owner Disclosures). Respond to compliance, financial, and internal control audit requests as required (e.g., AUP, Sarbox, etc.). Ensure that compliance processes and/or procedures are executed.
+ Perform ad-hoc analyses for and/or provide information to and advise, as appropriate, the FBP Customer team, Customer and Continent stakeholders, and other Global Finance groups on the business environment and key operating issues within the discipline.
+ Contribute to the organizational effectiveness of FBP Customer by actively seeking to improve processes and clarify work roles. Identify and help implement process improvement opportunities in the interfaces/work processes with Global Finance groups.
The salary range for this position is $84,900 to $122,100 annually. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus.
