If you are a **Manufacturing Engineer** professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our **Shakopee, Chanhassen, or Eden Prairie MN** location, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the development of technologies, products and/or processes to meet quality, cost, schedule, safety, and performance goals.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

+ Apply technical expertise in the production of products.

+ Select, design or recommend tools, fixtures, and equipment.

+ Develop manufacturing processes and procedures to reduce problems and cost.

+ Recommend design changes to increase quality or reduce problems and costs.

+ Solve production problems and improve process capabilities.

+ Participate in the presentation of test results and design reviews.

+ Interact with other functional groups, vendors, or customers.

+ Participate in the administration of technical procedures.

+ Initiate and implement routine engineering change authorizations.

+ Support capacity model and lean initiatives. May participate in lean six sigma improvement teams.

+ May interact with teammates in numerous global locations

+ May be required to travel to other Emerson factories in the United States China, Romania, and Mexico

+ Zero (0) years of applicable experience

+ Legal authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

+ An ABET-accredited engineering degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing is preferred.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The starting salary for this role is $74,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities and experience each candidate brings to a role.
