A holistic end-to-end experience in a corporate environment with access and visibility to senior executives, hands-on experience in financial reporting, managerial reporting, tax preparation and annual audit, and participation in daily tasks as well as special projects.

Responsibilities

+ Assist with general accounting month-end closing procedures

+ Monthly financial statement and managerial reporting review and analysis

+ Prepare financial reporting packages

+ Assist in data collection and entry in preparation for ASC 842 implementation

+ Prepare documentation in support of external audits

+ Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis and investigate issues providing explanations and interpretation

+ Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity

+ Complete special projects as needed and other duties assigned

Requirements

+ Must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited local University, with a major in Accounting or Finance. Junior or Senior level, with current GPA of 3.0 or above

+ Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without Visa sponsorship

+ Ability to communicate process and findings through oral and written communication effectively and efficiently

+ Ambitious, positive attitude, and a desire to build a career in the Accounting field

+ Possess a strong desire to learn and eagerness to gain hands-on experience

+ Proficient in Microsoft Excel, have excellent math skills, and be able to use a computer properly

Time Commitment

+ Core hours of operation are 8:00am and 5:00pm Monday thru Friday

+ 10 weeks (End of May through first week in August)
