Job Summary and Qualifications

At HCA West Florida, we are committed to creating a world-class experience for each patient. As part of our team, you will work alongside a dedicated group of professionals truly making a difference in the health and lives of the people of West Florida. We are currently seeking a registered Ultrasound Technologist on a PRN/as-needed basis. As a PRN Ultrasound Technologist on our team, you will provide ultrasound services to patients as ordered by physicians. You will also follow established standards and practices under the direction of a Radiologist. If you share our passion and vision, we invite you to apply now!

Your tasks and responsibilities include:

+ You will complete position responsibilities by following established guidelines & protocols within the appropriate time frame.

+ You will demonstrate good skills in all forms of communication.

+ You will work well with others in a spirit of teamwork and cooperation.

+ You will maintain education and development appropriate for position.

+ You will adhere to established hospital and department guidelines & protocols.

Qualifications:

+ OB Sonography Experience Required, MFM Preferred

+ Graduate of an accredited program for radiographers or ultra-sonographers

+ Current Ultrasound registry through the ARDMS required

+ OB/GYN preferred

+ Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

+ Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
