    How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Assist with planning, designing, and delivering network solutions around Cisco's Data Centre technologies and integrating them into Delta's overall data center architecture and design.

    + Assist senior network engineers and architects engaged in designing, testing, implementing, and supporting network infrastructure.

    + Responsible for project planning and building network infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements.

    + This includes documenting current and future requirements, planning analysis, assisting with solution development, and helping to estimate timelines for project implementation.

    + Successfully develop and leverage vendor relationships to deliver network products and services.

    + Ensure network performance and reliability meet enterprise objectives for timely service restoration and tuning.

    + Work with the Enterprise Architecture team to develop and define network architecture which incorporates standards, practices, processes, and products for the enterprise.

    + Telecommuting permitted up to two days per week.

    + Domestic travel required approximately 10% of the time to other Delta offices.

     

    What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

     

    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Security, Computer Networking, or a related field, and 5 years of experience in network engineering. In the alternative, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Security, Computer Networking, or a related field, and 3 years of experience in network engineering.

    Must have work experience in:

    + F5 Load balancers, APM (Access Policy Manager)

    + F5 GTM (Global Site Load Balancer)

    + Cisco network equipment, such as routers and switches

    + Network Routing & Switching with layer 4-7 services integration in data center and enterprise environment

    + Infoblox DNS, DHCP, SNMP, IPv4, VLANS, LAN, and Static Routing
