Job Summary and Qualifications

Our Imaging Teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently accepting applications for an Ultrasound Technologist on a PRN/per diem/as-needed basis. As an Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer on our team, you will perform routine diagnostic sonographic procedures in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner. We prioritize patient care. Your tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

+ Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures

+ Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images

+ Maintain proactive and effective communication with patient and radiologist regarding any findings, patient histories and test results as appropriate

Qualifications:

+ General Ultrasound experience preferred

+ Graduate of an accredited program for radiographers or ultra-sonographers

+ Current Ultrasound registry through the ARDMS required

+ Abdomen, OB/GYN and Vascular experience preferred

+ Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

+ Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
