PDS SPECIALIST (CORPIT):

Bowhead is seeking a PDS Specialist in Dahlgren, VA. The PDS Specialist is responsible for visually inspecting conduits throughout buildings to ensure nothing has been altered.

Responsibilities

Essential functions will include:

+ PDS inspectors will perform daily physical inspections, 365 days per year, at random times each day, of the entire

+ PDS inspectors will document the inspection on the PDS daily report.

+ PDS Daily will follow all Inspection Procedures.

+ PDS inspectors are responsible for inspecting Code 1041 Security Containers.

+ PDS inspectors will visually inspecting conduits throughout buildings to ensure nothing has been altered

+ PDS inspectors may be required to drive Government vehicles on-site at NSWC, Dahlgren Division in the performance of duties associated with the tasking of this contract.Government provided vehicles will be used solely for the purpose of transferring media and other artifacts.Drivers must present proof of a valid state driver's license prior to operating a government vehicle. A valid state driver's license shall be accepted as proper authority for operation of vehicles up to and including 10,000 pounds gross vehicle weight and carrying less than fifteen (15) passengers. For vehicles over 10,000 lbs and carrying more than fifteen (15) passengers a valid state driver's license and proof of required Navy training for vehicle are required. The state driver's license must be valid for the class and weight of the vehicle which the Contractor will be operating.

Qualifications

+ Three to five (3-5) years of experience in networking, IT, or other related fields preferred

+ Bachelor’s Degree preferred; High School Diploma required

+ Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

+ Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts

+ Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

Physical Demands:

+ Must be able to lift up to 15-25 or more pounds

+ Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time

+ Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
