    Job Description:

    Position Details:

    2nd Shift (3:00pm-11:30pm Mon-Fri)

     

    Overtime: Not required but available, including Sundays at double time; preference for candidates open to overtime.

    Your Expertise:

    * 4-6+ years of extensive experience in milling and machining

    * Aerospace experience highly preferred, but not required (ideally in MRO - Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul)

    * 4-6+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC Milling Machines (preferably Devlieg Milling Machines)

    * Needs to be familiar with Fanuc controls; willing to cross train on various operations/equipment

    * Strong mathematical skills and knowledge of GD&T

    * Familiar with Statistical Process Control (SPC)

    * Basic CNC Programming skills, or willingness to learn.

    * Ability to get up to speed quickly, and work independently with minimal supervision.

    * Ability to perform complex setups, edits, and operate established/NPI jobs.

    * NPI (New Product Introduction) experience.

    * Reading blueprints; using measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, depth gage, height gage, and vernier).

    Your Challenge:

    * Perform complex set ups, edits and operate established and NPI jobs with minimal supervision ensuring parts conform to specifications and requirements. Make modifications or adjustments as necessary

    * Verify dimensions using standard measuring instruments, such as micrometers, depth gage, height gage, and vernier

    * Read and interpret blueprints and operations sheets

    * Work with engineering department regarding material conditions, best positioning of part, tool pressure, etc. as required

    * Detect faulty operations and materials and report these along with other problems to immediate supervisor

    Education Requirements:

    * High school diploma or equivalent required

    Software/Tools Used:

    * CNC Milling Machines (Preferably Devlieg Milling Machines) & Basic CNC Programming Experience

    * Various Measuring Tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, depth gage, height gage, and vernier).

    * Fanuc controls
