Job Descriptions:
Sigmatech is seeking a Curriculum Developer for the USSF Regional Space Advisor Program.
This position requires familiarity in the following areas: DoD, commercial and civil space operations, ground systems, on-orbit systems, links, international capabilities, threats, cyber operations/threats/security. Individual will assist in the coordination, development, and maintenance of the RSA curriculum and lessons. Individual will develop and eventually instruct RSA lessons. Individual will collaborate with NSSI, Delta 13, STARCOM and USSF government, civilian and contractor personnel to develop and deliver the courseware IAW customer specifications. Experience overseas, dealing with foreign militaries and/or governments or embassy experience is desirable. Travel is likely, up to 25% annually, including occasional weekend travel.
Required Experience:
Postgraduate level adult education instructor and curriculum developer. Instruct in areas of SME and additional subject areas as required, supporting online, blended, in-resident and mobile courses of the NSSI as able and required. Qualify and deliver classroom instruction as assigned consistent with Instructional System Development (ISD) principles and NSSI Instructions to satisfy government course delivery requirements.
Curriculum developer. Design, develop, implement, and maintain lesson plans and materials within the USAF Instructional System Development (ISD) guidelines to satisfy government educational requirements. Interface with internal and external agencies and customers as required to maintain up-to-date education program materials. Provide strategic guidance in the adoption of modern digital learning experiences, identification of knowledge and skills gaps, and creation of new learning paths to support space expertise at scale.
Additional duties as required may be assigned. Required Skills/Experience
+ Working knowledge of USSF Space Competencies
+ Working knowledge of Commercial, Civil, and DOD space capabilities and operations
+ Working knowledge and experience with training and education systems and programs
+ Working knowledge of, and experience with, DoD Operational level command and control
+ Working knowledge of US Space strategies, policies and doctrine
+ Working knowledge of United States Combatant Commands.
+ Working knowledge of US partners in space
+ Experience overseas or dealing with foreign governments/militaries is desired
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
+ Top Secret Clearance and SCI eligibility required.
Desired Skills/Experience
• Completion of Air Force Instructor Course or equivalent Joint Service or civilian course/degree
• Experience with DoD training/education, including planning, developing, and delivering instruction in accordance with the ISD model, training records keeping and documentation.
• Familiarity with USSF organizations, Guardian development and strategic direction
Required Education
• Master’s degree from an accredited institution in relevant field (8 years of experience in a relevant field may be substituted for the education requirement)
In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $115,000 to $125,000; however, Sigmatech considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, experience, education/training, key skills, location and often contractual requirements.
