Job Descriptions:
Sigmatech is seeking two Curriculum Developers for the USSF's new Captains Course (akin to USAF SOS).
Curriculum developers will develop and assist the initial path forward, schedule and curriculum in the new USSF Captains Course.
The Captains course is in its nascent stages, candidates should be comfortable operating with minimal guidance and make decisions and recommendations based on their experience and sound judgment.
The ideal candidate has experience developing curriculum and have experience in communications, leadership, teambuilding and other traditional Military Officer PME instructional areas. Additionally, candidates should be familiar with DoD Space Missions and the Guardian Ideal.
+ Supports STARCOM, Delta 13 and Vosler Academy education initiatives and assist in solving education needs for the USSF components through development, refinement, and application of education modalities.
+ Use a variety of needs analyses to determine and develop OPME instruction, and evaluation.
+ Oversee the planning, researching, development, evaluation, and revising of OPME curriculum for OPME resident and potentially distributed learning courses.
+ Able to travel to meet with course customers and staekholders throughout the CONUS
+ Develops core curriculum and makes recommendations of learning objectives, course content, methodology, evaluation instruments, editing and production and other related aspects of curriculum development.
+ Authors innovative input to the curriculum and review processes as well as the curriculum program plan. Designs assigned core course lesson plans for OPME.
+ Creates new lesson plans to improve or keep pace with changing educational developments.
+ Establishes course objectives in assigned areas of responsibility to support curriculum development through direct and indirect research and research methodologies covering: leadership, communication, profession of arms, international security theories, and holistic principles and concepts spanning primary, intermediate, senior and executive levels of OPME. Reviews and coordinates on all changes to OPME lesson plans.
+ Reviews and provides professional recommendations on all OPME educational products. Reviews, provides recommendations, and guidance on OPME data generated from evaluation.
+ Research and stay abreast of course objectives and goals. Participates in the development of the OPME short and long-range educational plans.
Required Experience:
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in curriculum development and military Professional Military Education.
While this course will be for USSF Guardians, experience with other military PME is desirable.
The candidate should be familiar with Instructional Systems Design (ISD) processes and the ADDIE process.
Clearance Requirement: None (Top Secret/SCI eligible preferred)
In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $100 - $150/Hr; however, Sigmatech considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, experience, education/training, key skills, location, and often contractual requirements.

This position is for an independent consultant (1099), there are no benefits associated with this position. This work will be performed up to but not past 31 July 26. While it is possible, there is no guarantee of work past this date.
