Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring Associate, Mid-Level, or Senior Equipment & Reliability Asset Engineers for our North Charleston, SC Site.
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Designs, analyzes and modifies aerospace manufacturing equipment and tooling that meet stakeholder requirements.
+ Researches, develops, evaluates and integrates robotics, automation, and new technologies and processes related to equipment and tooling for applicability to programs and products.
+ Teams with cross-functional subject matter experts to develop and review bids and procurement specifications.
+ Estimates, plans, manages and executes the acquisition and modification of equipment and tooling.
+ Develops and implements testing and acceptance to validate performance.
+ Creates and maintains related documentation for equipment and tooling, develops preventative maintenance plans and trains personnel as needed.
+ Develops and implements interim solutions for damaged and unsafe equipment and tooling.
+ Investigates engineering changes and controls equipment and tooling configuration in accordance with company procedures.
+ Develops and recommends equipment reliability improvements through the application of reliability engineering tooling.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
+ Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
+ 2 or more years’ experience in engineering
+ Production Critical Asset Care & Performance
+ Continuous Improvement Methodologies and Application
+ Understanding of asset mechanical and electrical systems & concepts
+ Project Management Methodologies and Application
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
+ 5 or more years’ experience in engineering
+ Comprehensive understanding of production assets to include system integration, electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, power systems, mechanical, tooling and fixturing, etc.
+ Root Cause Analysis tools and concepts at the highest level
+ Comprehensive understanding of PLCs, Software, Control Systems, Drives, etc.
+ Understanding of industry Reliability Engineering techniques and practices, Preventative, Predictive, Prescriptive maintenance practices
+ Condition Based Monitoring and Maintenance: Thermography, Ultrasound, Tribology, Vibration Analysis, Motor Analysis, Metrology concepts
+ Asset Life Cycle Analysis, identifying obsolescence and mitigation strategy
+ Asset Data Integrity, Leads Standards and Development
+ Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) in-depth knowledge
+ SME Leads Reliability Workshops to drive reliability across all assets and teams; teaches, mentors, and leads by example
+ Emergent response engineer, leads primary asset communications

Pay Range Summary:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Associate Level: $76,500 - $103,500
Mid-Level: $90,100 - $121,900
Senior Level: $110,500 - $149,500
