    The expected base pay range for this position is $19.20 to $27.60. This salary range may vary based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, education, and geographic location.

     

    **JOB SUMMARY:** The Accounts Receivable Specialist II position will work to ensure complete and proper client information is captured for billing. This position will be hands-on and will require the ability to own processes and results with limited supervision. In addition, the A/R Specialist II will use their proficiency with the invoicing process to recommend changes, updates and participate/lead design enhancements.

    **ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The accountabilities listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.

    + Create invoices by entering detailed billing information. Verify accuracy of created invoices and makes necessary corrections

    + Follow special invoice processing instructions as directed (i.e. assign custom fee schedules, note individual invoices per PI, etc. in IRIS)

    + Share knowledge with other A/R Specialists to ensure all invoicing is created accurately and follows all requirements; serve as a resource for guidance on creating invoices

    + Respond to customer telephone and e-mail inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and general accounts receivable inquires. Involve A/R Manager or Lead A/R Specialist with any complex customer inquiries

    + Process and research returned customer invoices

    + Identify opportunities to streamline billing processes and improve efficiency

    + Enter fee schedules in NetSuite as needed

    + Act as a gatekeeper for all new account set up in NetSuite; ensure no duplicate accounts are created and accounts link back to SalesForce

    + Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

    + Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    **CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSE/REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:** None

    QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

    + Three (3) years accounts receivable experience or comparable conceptual knowledge (e.g. Associate degree in accounting or equivalent degree)

    + Working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel

    + Keyboarding at 30+wpm and 10-key by touch (preferred)

    + Creative problem-solving skills

    + Ability to manage multiple activities that require interaction with a variety of types of information

    + Ability to independently manage and regularly prioritize workload to meet deadlines and adjust to fluctuations in workload

    + Ability to express facts and ideas clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

    + Focus on details and accuracy

    + Team player: asks for and offers help when needed

    + Personal integrity and business ethics, driven by high performance standards

    + Ability to collaborate well with management, peers, vendors and corporate partners
