    Job Title: Structural Welder

    Job Description

    We are seeking skilled structural welders to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to weld proficiently with both Mig and Flux methods, read and interpret blueprints, and have expertise in setting amp/voltage on welding machines. Additionally, the candidate should be able to grind welds and demonstrate proficiency in the 3G (vertical) welding position.

    Responsibilities

    + Read blueprints and drawings to take or interpret measurements for layout and procedures.

    + Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on specific requirements.

    + Set up components for welding according to specifications, including cutting materials with powered saws to match measurements.

    + Operate angle grinders to prepare parts for welding.

    + Align components using tools such as calipers and rulers, and securely clamp pieces together.

    + Weld components using manual or semi-automatic equipment in various positions, including vertical, horizontal, or overhead.

    + Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify any flaws.

    + Maintain welding equipment to ensure it remains in a condition that does not compromise safety.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficient Mig and Flux welding skills.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

    + Experience in setting amp/voltage on welding machines.

    + Proficiency in grinding welds.

    + Welding in 3G (vertical) position.

    + 2+ years of structural welding experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in fabrication and production.

    + Proficient use of tape measures.

    Work Environment

     

    Work on a 1st shift from 5am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, or a night shift from 5pm to 4:30am, Monday through Friday.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
