Maintenance Mechanic (Night Shift)

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician with expertise in food and bakery equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience in automation, GMPs, and be adept in both mechanical and electrical aspects including 3-phase motors and conveyors. Experience with HMIs, programming, preventative maintenance, and x-ray machines is essential.

Responsibilities

+ Perform maintenance and repairs on food and bakery equipment.

+ Utilize electrical troubleshooting skills, including reading OHMS, meters, and resistance.

+ Conduct preventative maintenance and ensure the efficient operation of machinery.

+ Work with automation systems and ensure compliance with GMPs.

+ Handle mechanical and electrical tasks such as working on 3-phase motors and conveyors.

+ Perform welding as needed.

+ Troubleshoot and repair PLCs and heavy equipment.

+ Use hand tools and power tools for maintenance and repairs.

Essential Skills

+ Experience as a maintenance technician at a senior level.

+ Proficiency in electrical and mechanical maintenance.

+ Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.

+ Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

+ Ability to read schematics and use industrial tools.

+ Experience with PLC troubleshooting and industrial maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with welding is a plus.

+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

+ Leadership and teamwork skills.

Work Environment

The position is based in a clean production facility with a night shift schedule from 10pm to 8am, Monday through Friday. Weekend work is required as needed, with a shift differential for both weekday and weekend shifts. Enjoy a temperature-controlled environment in a single building location.

This is a Permanent position based out of Sacramento, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $73000.00 - $83000.00/yr.
