Job Title:** **Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

**Pay Range:** $20–$24/hour (flexible for highly experienced candidates)

**Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (flexible start time as early as 7:00 AM; no 4x10s or alternating Fridays)

**Start Date:** Immediate

**Location:** Rosemount, Minnesota

**Employment Type:** Temp-to-Hire (potential for permanent placement after 90 days)

Position Overview

We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to support our supply chain operations. This hands-on role is essential to ensuring timely and accurate movement of materials, maintaining inventory integrity, and delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

+ Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to safely load, unload, and transport materials.

+ Coordinate truck loading/unloading to minimize delays and optimize dock efficiency.

+ Maintain an organized inventory system using ERP software, ensuring accurate location tracking.

+ Perform scheduled cycle counts and report inventory discrepancies.

+ Collaborate with the Vehicle Coordinator to support vehicle movements and logistics.

+ Tag and label all inventory items with complete and accurate information.

+ Follow Standard Operating Procedures for supply chain and order management systems.

+ Respond to internal requests with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

+ Maintain proficiency in ERP and scheduling tools.

+ Uphold safety standards and smart work practices at all times.

+ Take on additional duties as needed to support the team.

Qualifications

+ Valid forklift certification.

+ Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping and receiving.

+ Familiarity with ERP systems (Workwise experience is a plus, but not required).

+ Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).

+ Customer service mindset with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

+ Experience in inventory control and warehouse operations.

Work Environment

This role involves operating a sit-down forklift with 8 ft. forks to handle large or awkward items. The atmosphere is casual yet safety-focused, with a supportive team and a flexible schedule that starts as early as 7:00 AM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
