Machine Operator – 2nd & 3rd Shift

**Location:** Miami Lakes, FL

We’re seeking experienced and reliable Machine Operators to support our production team in Miami Lakes. This is a great opportunity for individuals with strong mechanical skills in machine operation who are looking for a stable, long-term role in a clean, climate-controlled facility.

Role Overview

As a Machine Operator, you’ll be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining specialized equipment used in the production of medical devices. You’ll ensure machines run efficiently, troubleshoot issues, and support junior operators as needed.

Key Responsibilities

+ Operate and oversee braiding machines used in catheter reinforcement

+ Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality standards

+ Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment

+ Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues

+ Ensure compliance with GMP standards and safety protocols

+ Support training and mentoring of junior operators

+ Maintain accurate production and maintenance records

+ Execute lockout/tagout procedures and ensure tool calibration

Qualifications

+ 2+ years of experience in machine operation, preferably in medical device or regulated manufacturing

+ Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

+ Familiarity with GMP environments and SOPs

+ Ability to lift and maneuver reels up to 65 lbs

+ High attention to detail and ability to work independently

+ Comfortable working in a cleanroom setting

Shift Details

+ **2nd Shift:** 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (8% shift differential)

+ **3rd Shift:** 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12% shift differential)

+ Monday–Friday schedule

+ Orientation held on Day 1 at 8:00 AM

+ Minimum 3-month training/shadowing period on assigned shift

+ Earplugs provided for noisy machine rooms

+ PPE provided (steel-toe shoes not included)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.52/hr.
