    Job Description

    Join our team as a Stacker in a dynamic production environment dedicated to producing high-quality food products. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of production lines, handling tasks such as boxing, stacking, loading, unloading, and palletizing products. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently on a team.

    Responsibilities

    + Work on production lines boxing and stacking products.

    + Load and unload products into and from machines.

    + Palletize and wrap products for shipment.

    + Open boxes with empty glass bottles and feed them into production machines.

    + Ensure cleanliness of the work area throughout the shift.

    + Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) to maintain quality standards.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to lift 15-20 pounds.

    + Capability to stand for shifts ranging from 10-12 hours.

    + Experience working on a high-speed production line.

    + Skill in maintaining cleanliness in a work environment.

    + Proficiency in following GMP practices.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in general labor or warehouse environments is a plus.

    + Comfortable working with strong smells such as garlic, jalapeños, salsa, and taco sauce.

    Work Environment

     

    The production environment is cold in winter and warm in summer, with no air conditioning or heating. Workers will be around machines that may emit heat and will need to be comfortable standing long hours. Protective gear such as gloves, beard nets, hair nets, ear plugs, and safety glasses is provided. Steel-toe boots are required and must be supplied by the worker. Temporary employees wear royal blue shirts, provided at the start. The team environment is diverse, with many speaking Spanish or Haitian Creole. Facilities include a locker for personal items and a break room equipped with microwaves and vending machines.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hurlock, Maryland.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
