DAFgiving360™ is an independent nonprofit organization created to increase charitable giving in the U.S. We offer a donor-advised fund program and related philanthropic tools and guidance that empower donors to incorporate charitable planning into their everyday lives and make a bigger difference in the world. Since our founding in 1999 as an 501(c)(3) public charity, DAFgiving360 donors have recommended over $44 billion in grants to more than 280,000 charities.

DAFgiving360 has entered into a services agreement with Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. for administrative and other services, including human resources. This position will be an employee of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. and will be subject to its policies and procedures but will report to and be accountable to DAFgiving360 for day-to-day activities.

As a vital member of the Charitable Analytics team, the Senior Manager, Analytics Developer helps support the vision and future of analytics at DAFgiving360. This individual will be responsible for leading projects that involve data curation, analysis, automation, and storytelling to support strategic objectives, key initiatives, and department priorities across the organization. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, highly analytical and has exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Additional responsibilities include:

+ Leading and supporting with data in large cross-functional initiatives and strategic priorities

+ Enabling and supporting business power users across DAFgiving360

+ Establishing and documenting standards in a center of excellence capacity for the Business Intelligence team and the organization

+ Assistance with training and mentoring within the Business Intelligence team

What you are good at

+ Designing, developing, and maintaining interactive data visualizations and automated reporting in Tableau and other BI tools

+ Translating ambiguous requirements into effective solutions

+ Leveraging strong analytical and storytelling skills to summarize and deliver business intelligence to stakeholders and senior leadership

+ Applying strong critical thinking skills, data expertise, and attention to detail to developing solutions to complex business problems

+ Managing a dynamic workload, including multiple deliverables while maintaining alignment with strategic priorities

+ Working collaboratively with other BI team members, delegating and leading as needed, to ensure quality, on-time deliverables and increased exposure across the team

What you have

+ Ability to explain complicated information to both technical and non-technical partners

+ Strong cross-functional working relationships with leadership, colleagues, and stakeholders

+ Strong analytical skills with a natural tendency to derive insights from and spot issues with data and the resourcefulness to find solutions and overcome barriers

What you have

Minimum Qualifications:

+ 5+ years of experience with reporting and data visualization tools (Business Objects, Tableau, PowerBI)

+ 5+ years of experience with data management tools and coding languages (SQL, Python)

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance or related quantitative field

Preferred Qualifications:

+ 5+ years experience in a Business Intelligence function

+ Certification in Tableau and Alteryx

+ Experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics (Machine Learning, Predictive Modelling, AI)

+ Experience with Adobe Analytics and/or Splunk

+ Advanced degree or MBA
