    Our client is seeking a highly capable and experienced Controller to lead their accounting operations and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, with a strong emphasis on revenue recognition (ASC 606). This is a key leadership role, offering the opportunity to drive financial integrity, support strategic decision-making, and help scale a growing finance function. The ideal candidate will be a CPA with a deep technical accounting background, particularly in GAAP and revenue recognition, and a proven ability to lead teams in a dynamic environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Lead and manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including month-end and year-end close processes.

    + Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with U.S. GAAP.

    + Oversee and implement proper revenue recognition policies under ASC 606, ensuring consistency across the organization.

    + Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

    + Coordinate and manage annual audits and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors.

    + Prepare and review financial statements, account reconciliations, and internal reporting packages.

    + Collaborate with FP& A on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.

    + Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering growth and operational excellence.

    + Drive continuous improvement and systems optimization within the accounting function.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Active CPA license is required.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.

    + Minimum of 8 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or Controller role.

    + Strong technical proficiency in U.S. GAAP, with hands-on experience in ASC 606.

    + Prior experience managing a successful month-end close process and delivering timely financial reports.

    + Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building and developing accounting teams.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Background in public accounting preferred
