    Job Title: Phlebotomist - Utah

    Job Description

    Join a dynamic team at a busy patient service center where you will perform blood draws and manage specimens for a variety of tests. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment that sees approximately 100-150 patients daily. You will conduct 30-40 blood draws per day independently, manage data entry, process specimens, and prepare labs for shipment. You will also rotate between the front desk, patient service, and other testing tasks. We are looking for proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented candidates eager for growth opportunities.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform blood draws independently, handling 30-40 draws per day.

    + Conduct data entry and manage specimen processing.

    + Prepare labs for shipment and administer a full menu of testing.

    + Rotate between front desk duties, patient services, and various testing tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + Phlebotomy skills including blood draw and venipuncture.

    + Graduate of a phlebotomy school or program preferred.

    + Six months of clinical phlebotomy experience required.

    + Experience in a hospital or outpatient lab setting preferred.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Phlebotomy certification is a plus but not required.

    + Experience with plasma must be supplemented by traditional phlebotomy.

    + Familiarity with the testing menu is preferred.

    Work Environment

    Work in a thriving national outpatient setting where scrubs, closed-toe shoes, and lab coats are provided. Current openings are at various locations including SLC, Draper, Provo, and West Jordan, each offering a busy and engaging work atmosphere.

    This is a Contract position based out of Salt Lake City, Utah.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.75/hr.
