    Hours per Pay Period: 1.00 = 80 hours every two weeks (Exempt)

     

    Starting Wage DOE: $29.08 - $36.34

     

    The Marketing Project & Event Strategist ensures the execution and delivery of service line marketing campaigns and projects. The incumbent managers service line strategies to ensure all projects are delivered on time. This position requires attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Responsibilities include drafting quarterly service line goals and tactics, maintaining project management system, and monitoring to ensure all deliverables are achieved on time and on budget. This position is also responsible to ensure effective brand presence at open houses, health fairs, conference exhibits, employee events and educational programs. Serves as a liaison related to providing information about Billings Clinic services to community members, employers, consumer groups, payers and other target audiences as needed. Position oversees marketing communication premiums and interfaces with vendors .

    Essential Job Functions

    • Supports and models behaviors consistent with Billings Clinic’s mission, vision, values, code of business conduct and service expectations. Meets all mandatory organizational and departmental requirements. Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental and outside agency standards as it relates to the environment, employee, patient safety or job performance.

    • Coordinates marketing project resources and tracks project progress against established timelines and schedules. Ensures work is completed on time, within budget, and to specification. Acts as a liaison between the property owners and project team members regarding changes or problems. Selects, negotiates with, and coordinates the work of vendors, contractors, or sub-contractors. Responsible for material management and delivery scheduling tasks in support of assigned projects. Tracks project progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators and prepares and delivers reports to management.

    • Service as point of contact for marketing requests and assign to appropriate team member.

    • Coordinates all aspects of targeted marketing events, including open houses, health fairs, conference exhibits and/or education programs such as Lunch and Learns. Responsibilities include coordination of staff to facilitate special event/function, catering, supporting materials and budget planning. Utilizes Brand Center to create basic flyers to support events.

    • Provides project planning and support to organizational communications such as Sunday Calendar, MD Directory and other system related communications.

    • Maintains inventory and ordering of all premiums and procuring bids for best purchase price. Maintains inventory of printed materials and oversees Marketing Storage area and retention of historical materials.

    • Promotes selected clinical services to local and regional employers. Acts as liaison for employers with existing occupational health contracts as well as other service lines to identify opportunities and issues and provide service recovery. Maintains effective relationships with employers and maintains employer database.

    • Participates in building connections between clinical departments to cross-sell services among Billings Clinic specialties.

    • Participates in employee related events and opportunities to engage employees in volunteering in community for Billings Clinic sponsored events and other opportunities.

    • Works to maintain department budget and oversight of invoice payment with marketing team. Prepares reports on budget spending to assure budget is maintained.

    • Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Education

    • Bachelors degree with an emphasis in marketing, communication, journalism, business administration or other related field

    Experience

    • 5 years of progressively responsible experience in graphic design, writing, marketing/public relations or marketing communications

    • 3 years of experience with personal computers and word, spreadsheet, presentation and graphic design software/applications, web design, , writing and development of written/verbal communications

    • Health care experience and knowledge is desirable

    • Detail oriented

    • Highly organized

     

    Or an equivalent combination of education and experience relating to the above tasks, knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered
