Summary:
Mortgage Region Managers will plan and oversee all aspects of mortgage function within the consumer direct channel. Includes origination, sales, quality production, sales operations, training, coaching, development, and monitoring the performance of the sales team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Managing consumer direct Mortgage Loan Officers, mortgage sales operations, handling customer issues, new business development, policies, human resources issues, sales coaching and administration.
+ Manages and coaches team to exceed set production goals for inbound and outbound sales.
+ Partners with internal partners to develop relationships and achieve cross sell goals.
+ Achieves management objectives for profit, volume, quality, compliance, cross sells, etc.
+ Adheres to bank policies and procedures and complies with legal and regulatory requirements.
+ Follows, or in some cases establishes as required effective controls and processes to ensure risks are measured, monitored and controlled and compliance requirements are adhered to on an on-going basis.
+ Ad hoc reporting
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Associates Degree or equivalent
+ 5 or more years experience in Mortgage Sales and Sales Management
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Proven ability to meet sales goals and quotas.
+ Proven experience in developing and maintaining positive inter-departmental relationships.
+ Proven leadership skills including exhibiting Huntington's core values.
+ The selected individual must have strong team-building skills, local recruitment sources as well as experience coaching and developing direct reports.
Basic Qualifications:
