    Are you passionate about philanthropy, community impact, and strategic giving? C.H. Robinson is looking for a Senior Community Relations Consultant to play a key role in advancing our corporate social responsibility mission and strengthening the communities where we live and work. This position is based in Eden Prairie, MN, with the expectation to work onsite as needed.

     

    This role focuses on managing the C.H. Robinson Foundation’s grantmaking programs, driving charitable giving initiatives, and partnering with internal and external stakeholders to tell our story, measure our impact, and grow our programs. You’ll be a critical team member in executing the strategy for employee engagement, disaster response, nonprofit partnerships, and community investment.

    Responsibilities:

    Grants & Foundation Program Management

    + Lead the end-to-end administration of C.H. Robinson Foundation grant programs, including application intake, vetting, communications, and partner engagement

    + Oversee the Foundation’s internal grant review committees, preparing materials, leading meetings, and providing training and guidance

    + Manage the annual scholarship program and employee relief fund, ensuring effective communication, application review, and program compliance

    + Collaborate with leadership to propose and track the Foundation’s annual budget; maintain alignment with business and philanthropic priorities

    + In partnership with leadership, develop KPIs and a measurement strategy to assess and report on the impact of Foundation giving

    + Review and recommend disaster relief response plans and donated transportation requests, aligning support with company values and capacity

    Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

    + Create and review content for external presentations and collateral materials in coordination with the brand and design team

    + Prepare materials and communication for Foundation Board meetings, supporting engagement, alignment, and transparency

    + Serve as a strategic partner to nonprofit organizations and community stakeholders, building meaningful long-term relationships

    + Contribute to and support internal employee engagement strategy execution

    Program & Vendor Oversight

    + Manage relationships with third-party vendors to ensure seamless delivery of charitable giving platforms and employee engagement tools (e.g., YourCause)

    + Continuously evaluate and recommend program improvements or new initiatives that align with company-wide sustainability strategies

    Required Qualifications:

    + High School diploma or GED

    + Minimum 5 years of experience with corporate responsibility, foundations, grant programing or similar

    + Ability to work evening and weekends up to 15% of time

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

    + Comfortable working in a high volume, fast-paced, rapidly changing, results-oriented work environment

    + Outstanding ability to manage relationships and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes

    + Excellent consultative skills and ability to communicate and influence effectively across varied stakeholder audiences

    + Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to the appropriate audience

    + Possesses strong strategic orientation, ability to think critically, and evaluate broad impacts of work

    + Proven ability to work with minimal guidance, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and take initiative even under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances

    + Experience with YourCause/Blackbaud

    Compensation Range

     

    $76,100.00 - $118,700.00

     

    The base pay range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for this specific location. Your individual base pay within this range is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base pay only and do not include additional variable compensation.
