SUMMARY: The Program Accounts Coordinator is responsible for project preparation and execution related to planning and configuration of contract billing across all business units including Airframe, Engineering and Alternate Solutions. This position processes and tracks accounts payable and receivable related to those projects. Prepares customer invoices for approval and distribution.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
+ Initiates project work order and creates job numbers.
+ Prepares work order documents for issuance to the determined plan.
+ Generates labor and material invoices in compliance to contractual terms.
+ Performs contract analysis to ensure proper invoicing in accordance with contract agreement.
+ Troubleshoots and resolves any current issues to ensure timely and accurate billing.
+ Compiles and processes documentation for approval of invoices.
+ Works closely with the Project and Program Managers to ensure accuracy of invoices.
+ Assists in development of bids and proposals.
+ Prepares and reviews vendor, contractor or third-party invoices received; corrects errors and ensures accuracy.
+ Interfaces with other departments and vendors, to communicate the needs and requirements of accounts payable.
+ Forecasts and analyzes program task requirements.
+ Analyzes programs regularly utilizing existing tools and provides estimates and billing revisions to Project or Program Manager for incorporation into forecast reporting.
+ Provides early identification to budget overruns or underruns and raises issues to Project or Program Manager. Makes recommendations for either corrective action or contract amendment.
+ Applies lean principles and process development skills to further refine tracking tools as well as to identify and develop new processes to improve cash flow and billing efficiency.
+ Develops and leads the implementation of new processes and systems.
OTHER DUTIES:
+ Some travel may be required.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
+ Associates degree and minimum of five (5) years’ related experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or other related field preferred.
+ Experience in Aviation or MRO preferred.
PHYSICAL EFFORT AND DEXTERITY:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit; use their hands and arms; and talk or hear; and focus on objects close up. The employee will also be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Compensation
The base pay range for this position is $31.93 - $47.90 hourly, not including bonuses or benefits. Your pay will be based on your experience, skills, and education, as well as internal equity to ensure fairness across the team. Candidates closer to the lower end of the range are typically building their expertise, while those at the higher end bring significant experience and specialized knowledge. This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus.
