Wells Fargo is seeking an Executive Director, Senior Lead Corporate Banking Relationship Manager as part of the Technology, Media & Telecom (“TMT”) Corporate Banking team. This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with a broad range of corporate clients and delivering the full platform of Wells Fargo’s capabilities, including Credit, Treasury Management, Macro solutions, Debt & Equity Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance, M&A related Acquisition Finance, and Global Receivables & Trade. This position requires expertise in traditional banking and capital markets products and TMT sector experience is preferred. This role will report to the head of TMT Corporate Banking.
In this role, you will:
+ Work as an advisor to more experienced leadership to develop or influence objectives, plans, specifications, resources, and long-term goals for large corporate banking or specialized lending sector across Corporate Banking functions
+ Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the company
+ Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking, and coordination of highly complex activities and guidance to others
+ Develop, maintain and generate revenue from the most important and financially complex clients
+ Handle all aspects of client interaction, including directing and coordinating execution of transactions with key product partners
+ Provide vision, direction, and expertise to more experienced leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are large-scale cross-functional or companywide strategies
+ Process larger syndicated transactions where Wells Fargo has a lead role and be active in providing financial advice, ideas and solutions to client base
+ Engage with all levels of professionals and managers companywide and serve as an expert advisor to leadership
+ Serve as a peer mentor
Required Qualifications:
+ 7+ years of Corporate Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
+ Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
+ Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
+ Strong accounting skills and ability to analyze financial statements
+ Relationship management or client-facing experience
+ Credit underwriting experience highly desired
+ Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
+ Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
+ Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Job Expectations:
+ Registration for FINRA exams including Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 63 and Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date, if they are not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted
+ This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to comply with 17 CRF 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents.
+ Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$215,000.00 - $355,000.00
