    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Assists patients with activities of daily living such as feeding, toileting and hygiene

    + Provides basic nursing care to non-acutely and acutely ill patients

    + Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment

    + Works under the directions and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unit

    + Answers phones and call lights

    + Ensures unit is stocked with supplies

    + Assists patient transporter as needed

    + Other duties as assigned

     

    Shifts: Night Shift 1930 - 0700

    Qualifications

    Experience:

    + 1 or more years of nursing assistant experience (strongly preferred)

    Certifications:

    + Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred)

    + Current BCLS certification, required

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

    + Ability to read and communicate effectively in English

    + Basic computer knowledge
