    Job Title: Planner Scheduler Job Description

     

    The Planner Scheduler will create and maintain daily and weekly production schedules to ensure customer orders are completed for on-time delivery. This role involves identifying and addressing component issues that impact production and seeks to improve the work order process. The Planner Scheduler will create work orders to increase production throughput based on time standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Create and maintain efficient daily and weekly schedules generated through software.

    + Develop and understand effective reports to make informed production decisions.

    + Provide swift responses to production issues.

    + Identify enhancements to scheduling processes and methods to accomplish production goals.

    + Lead daily conference calls with cross-functional departments.

    + Lead customer conference calls as necessary.

    + Utilize experience working with MRP/ERP systems.

    + Exhibit a relentless desire to meet and exceed customer expectations and commitments.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of experience in production planning/scheduling.

    + Experience with ERP systems.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

    + Minimum of an Associate's Degree; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Fluency in Microsoft Office programs.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    + Bilingual in Spanish is a significant advantage and may compensate for less experience.

    + 5+ years of experience in production planning/scheduling is preferred.

    + Bilingual in Spanish/English is highly desirable.

    Work Environment

    The work environment is a big, newer facility that is comfortable. The role requires spending 60% of the time in the office and 40% on the production floor, where you will walk the production floor to meet with department leads and managers to discuss production needs and updates. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and it's a salaried position. The dress code is business casual, and safety glasses will be provided when on the production floor.

    This is a Permanent position based out of York, Pennsylvania.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $70000.00/yr.

     

    BC/BS for Healthcare and MetLife for the rest. 10 paid holidays, vacation pro-rated in the first year and our 401K offers entry at the first of each quarter with Company matching funds (60% of the first 6% of contribution) after 1-year of employment (for active Plan participants). There is a 5-year vesting period for the matching funds only.

     

    MCC pays the full monthly premiums for STD AND LTD for every MCC EE.
