About the Role
Growing provider of electrical, mechanical, and power management systems is looking for a motivated, self-directed Inside Sales Representative to join the team. This role supports critical back-end sales operations. Candidates must be confident working independently, managing their day-to-day workflow with minimal supervision.
The position requires onsite presence in La Porte, TX once per week—with the flexibility to be in the office more often if preferred.
This is a high-volume, fast-paced environment where communication, organization, and a strong customer service mindset are essential.
Key Responsibilities
+ Customer Communication: Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external customer requests via phone and email. Provide timely and professional support.
+ RFQs & POs: Handle incoming Requests for Quotes (RFQs), prepare pricing and lead time information, and process purchase orders (POs) accurately and efficiently.
+ Forecasting & Order Management: Assist in anticipating customer needs and tracking orders through completion.
+ Vendor Coordination: Liaise with vendors to confirm pricing, availability, and lead times.
+ Product Knowledge: Become knowledgeable about products and services in order to provide informed responses and suggestions.
+ Internal Collaboration: Support Account Managers and work closely with cross-functional teams to meet customer expectations.
+ Professional Communication: Maintain proactive, clear, and consistent communication throughout the sales support process.

Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
+ 0–2 years of experience in inside sales, sales support, customer service, or similar roles.
+ Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); CRM systems (Salesforce, Dynamics, etc.) are a plus.
+ Prior experience in industrial sales or related industries is a plus, but not required.
This is not an Account Manager role. Inside Sales Reps focus on the operational and administrative side of the sales process—maintaining the paper trail and supporting the customer experience from quote to delivery.
