Description
Client needs to bring in a team of Desktop Support Technicians to help support their HQ building move in Downtown Cleveland (HQ). They are moving in waves, starting in mid-October. They will have different teams take their laptops home on Friday when it is their turn to move, and a moving company will box up the remaining equipment and physically move it to the new building. This team of contractors will help with things like setting up monitors, making sure everything is connected like instaprint/printers, troubleshoot any issues, etc. This team will additionally be placed around the new building(s) so that employees can raise their hand or walk over to the Desktop Support contractors for help if there are any issues with equipment post-move. This will help employees avoid having to submit a ticket or call the helpdesk, minimizing their downtime and helping get the employees up and running quicker.
Responsibilities include:
• Hardware/software troubleshooting
• Install, set up, configuration
• Assist with the identification and implementation of solutions that provide enhanced functionality and value.
• Deploy service solutions that simplify processes.
• Support and resolve issues affecting Tech Bar clients
• Install, troubleshoot & support any network connectivity and end user devices.
Operational Management
• Provide installation and support for hardware, software, mobile devices and network components.
• Provide advanced technical support for local network or system users. Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues within the specified SLT’s.
• Measure and report on services rendered (monthly metrics and project status reports).
• Coordinate routing and dispatching of complex PC issues, Network, Messaging, Server and other concerns to appropriate parts of the organization.
• Recommend process and procedural improvements.
• Act as the single point of contact for all IT related issues for your customers.
• Interfaces and engages escalation points in addressing complex technical issues.
The ideal candidate will have experience with general desktop support, hardware and software troubleshooting and set up, network connectivity support, connecting printers/print drivers, peripherals, etc. This is a Windows environment. ServiceNow ticketing system.
*Shift - not yet set, but will have weekend work. It could be Monday-Friday, Tuesday-Sat, etc. but it will be 8 am - 5 pm. They are looking for people with open availability. They do not believe there will be work on Sundays, but unsure right now.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
