    Corporate & Firmwide Employee Communications is an integral function at JPMorganChase, which focuses on reinforcing the firm's culture and keeping employees informed about its priorities and diverse businesses. Members of the team serve as trusted advisors to the firm's senior leaders and other communications managers across the firm. The team oversees a variety of engagement channels and tools, including the corporate intranet (today@jpmc), firmwide employee newsletter and mobile app (Ink), digital signage and Targeted Email.

     

    As a Communications Senior Associate within Corporate & Firmwide Employee Communications you will primarily support communications for the Office of the Chief Financial Officer organization at JPMorganChase and will report to the Office of the Chief Financial Officer Communications Manager. In addition, you will manage the creation and distribution of internal emails to large volumes of Office of the Chief Financial Officer and other Corporate employees being sent by Leadership Team members, Committees and Councils. You will also be asked to participate in strategic firmwide projects as needed. You will also manage event logistics for senior executives, employee events and site visits, including scheduling, booking rooms, scheduling Zoom webinars, audio/video requirements, invitations, catering, and RSVP tracking.

    Job responsibilities:

    + Maintain distribution lists that reflect the current organization structures, and stay current on organization changes to update targeted lists accordingly

    + Refresh and distribute town hall invitations on behalf of Office of the Chief Financial Officer executives

    + Proofread/reformat, and in some cases draft, email messages prior to distributing them

    + Execute and track message distributions and pacing

    + Maintain master calendars

    + Provide on-the-ground event support; liaise with AV Technicians and Conference Center Planners on event execution

    + Attend People Council and Site Lead meetings, acting as the communications subject matter expert, taking notes and actively listening for storytelling and collaboration opportunities and more

    + Manage the distribution of People Agenda emails; regularly update and archive editorial

    + Collaborate with the People Agenda Lead and Site Leaders on events, emails and other communications as needed; manage and maintain the People Agenda intranet page

    + Work with the Office of the Chief Financial Officer Editorial Director on stories for the function's signature series

    + Assist the Office of the Chief Financial Officer Intranet Site Manager to regularly update and create intranet pages

    Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

    + 3+ years of professional experience required

    + Flawless spelling, grammar and proofreading skills (a writing test will be required as part of the interview process)

    + Strong writing skills, and interest in growing and developing in this area; ensuring communications adhere to internal brand and style guidelines

    + Demonstrated experience working under pressure in a fast-paced environment

    + Great team player with a positive can-do attitude, high degree of flexibility and willingness to jump in and support members of the team

    + Outstanding interpersonal skills

    + Self-starter/proactive/willingly does what is required to support a superior outcome

    + Superb execution and organizational skills; strong attention to detail is a must

    + Ability to manage multiple projects, adhere to deadlines, deliver results and work independently, when needed

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Office

    + Previous experience in event management is required

    Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

    + communications, PR and/or event management experience: experience drafting and editing business messages

    + Prior experience within the firm

    + experience using Event Management tools and Targeted Email or broadcast email distribution systems
