Position Summary:
We are hiring Program Specialists to serve as the primary point of contact for patients and providers, offering operational and reimbursement support across complex healthcare programs. This includes marketing support, reimbursement hotlines, patient assistance programs, safety surveillance, case management, and compliance initiatives. Program Specialists are expected to proactively resolve access barriers and ensure patients receive timely support.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Respond promptly to inbound calls and faxes, identifying appropriate solutions
+ Conduct outbound insurance verification calls and document coverage status
+ Process patient applications and determine eligibility based on program guidelines
+ Maintain accurate documentation in tracking systems and escalate issues as needed
+ Coordinate prescription orders and transfers to specialty pharmacies
+ Educate patients on available insurance options and coverage pathways
+ Uphold all privacy, compliance, and safety reporting standards
+ Complete required training and apply data handling protocols consistently

Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
+ 1–2 years of customer service experience in an international call center
+ Experience in safety reporting preferred
+ Familiarity with U.S. healthcare and reimbursement systems preferred
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to multitask across multiple systems and maintain attention to detail
+ Empathetic, accountable, and responsive to customer needs
+ Comfortable working in a structured, high-volume environment
Additional Notes:
+ Candidates must be available for the full training period; no PTO will be approved during training
+ Limited time off may be granted after training due to the short-term, high-volume nature of the project
+ Please highlight call center and healthcare experience, as well as longevity in previous roles when submitting candidates

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
