IT Project Manager - Outpatient Innovation

Project Duration: 1 Year contract

At TEKsystems, we are supporting a local healthcare organization seeking a Project Manager to lead the expansion of outpatient innovation initiatives piloted at our preferred pilot clinic across the broader ambulatory network. This is a one-year project-based role ideal for a candidate with a strong background in healthcare IT, Epic systems, and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

+ Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycle for healthcare IT initiatives.

+ Collaborate with clinical and administrative stakeholders to integrate technology into existing workflows.

+ Oversee implementation of digital front door tools, CRM platforms, or AI-enabled solutions.

+ Ensure alignment with project goals, timelines, and regulatory requirements.

+ Manage project documentation, risk mitigation, and reporting.

+ Coordinate with Epic analysts and technical teams to support module deployment and optimization.

Required Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

+ 3–5 years of project management experience in healthcare settings, ideally in ambulatory or outpatient environments.

+ Proven success implementing technologies in clinical workflows or patient engagement platforms.

+ Strong understanding of at least one Epic module:

+ Epic Ambulatory, Epic Cadence, Epic Prelude, or MyChart.

+ Familiarity with Epic Hello World and its capabilities in SMS, Chat, and MyChart communication is a plus.

+ Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and organizational skills.

+ PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $106000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
