    Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

    + Interviews, hires, directs, trains, evaluates the performance of, and when necessary, disciplines and discharges employees.

    + Administers all aspects of the program and fiscal development, planning, management and operation.

    + Direct, develop, plan, and organize functional areas for the Office of Victim and Volunteer Services.

    + Evaluates employees at scheduled interviews.

    + Manage Krono’s and personnel action requests.

    + Supervises staff on-call, crisis intervention and response. Serving as a Crisis Response Overseer for victim services related to PREA, Staff Victimization, Sex-Offender Panel (s), and Human Trafficking Cases.

    + Conducts or participates in the development, review, revision, interpretation, and/or implementation of policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.

    + Gathers information and monitors Office Budget.

    + Compiles data and conducts cost analysis for budget requests in required format.

    + Monitors expenditures of funds managed by the office to identify and prevent over expenditures.

    + Prepares budget requests.

    + Order supplies through TGM.

    + Coordinates interaction between department, agency, and facility operating units, other programs and/or external customers as appropriate.

    + Oversee the development and on-going management of one or more programs or projects.

    + Developed and maintains a system of performance monitoring for office activities.

    + Monitors office projects to ensure adherence to timelines and guidelines.

    + Conduct periodic program reviews and makes necessary modifications.

    + Provides supportive and referral services to victims of crime and their significant others.

    + Develops and presents public education programs on the victim services program and victim issues.

    + Develop community resources and networks which support and enhance program objectives.

    + Provides case review and recommendation where the sexually abusive youth and victim may reside in the same home.

    + Conduct ongoing oversite for audits and technical assistance for statewide volunteer programs and activities. Provide corrective action plans as needed.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree in operations management, business administration, or a related field which includes four (4) years in a managerial or supervisory role.

    + Or eight (8) years of related professional experience which includes four (4) years in a managerial or supervisory role.

    + Or four (4) years of experience required at the lower level Mgr 2, Business Ops (GSM011) or position equivalent.

     

    Note: An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certifications that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted year-over-year.
