    Job Description:

    L3 is in search for an Associate Manager, who leads, directs, and reviews the work of electrical professionals or lower level supervisors. Supervises the installation and repair of industrial processing and manufacturing equipment. Identify repairs and troubleshoots routine electrical systems and equipment. Communicates within and outside own function to explain and gain cooperation on policies and practices. Makes moderate to substantial improvements to processes, systems, and solutions. Plans and establishes goals and objectives for a team with direct impact on the short-term operational results for the department. Supports engineering needs by responding to service requests for mechanical and electrical problems. Ensures compliance with all applicable codes and regulations and advises senior management on requirements. Preserves equipment in good working order by following operating instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, keeping supplies on hand, regularly managing preventive maintenance and promptly scheduling repairs. Keeps knowledge and skills current by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, networking and participating in professional organizations.

    Essential Functions:

    + Plan, coordinate, and schedule facilities electrical repairs and installations

    + Ordering and procuring material

    + Oversee troubleshooting and repairs to equipment

    + Contractor oversight

    + Support Facilities Designs

    + Ensures employee training is completed

    + Approves timecards

    + Maintains and closes work orders

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of nine (9) years of applicable experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.

    + Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.

    + Requires practical knowledge in leading/managing projects, processes, and employees and has strong knowledge within facilities maintenance disciplines.

    + Troubleshooting skills

    + Effective leadership ability

    + Demonstrably high level of technical understanding

    + Budget development experience, including fiscal analysis and forecasting

    + Equipment maintenance

    + Safety program management and implementation

    + Demonstrated experience in supply management, including inventory control and procurement

    + Facilities management systems experience

    + Experience in managing personnel and projects

    Preferred Additional Skills:

    + Strong communication

    + Works with and uses all tools, materials, instruments, machines and equipment necessary to perform duties

    + Attention to detail

    + Strong conceptual skills
