    About the role

    As an Appian Developer, you will make an impact by designing and implementing Appian-based solutions to meet business requirements. You will be a valued member of the Digital Process Automation (DPA) team and work collaboratively with project managers, business analysts, and offshore developers.

    In this role, you will:

    + Lead Appian development efforts and ensure successful implementation of solutions.

    + Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and conduct workshops and demos.

    + Design and develop Appian components including SAIL interfaces, process models, rules, and expressions.

    + Integrate Appian applications with external systems using REST APIs.

    + Manage data using complex data types (CDTs), XSDs, and SQL queries.

    Remote from the United States only

    What you need to have to be considered

    + 8+ years of overall IT experience, with at least 5 years in Appian development.

    + Strong expertise in Appian implementation methodology and full lifecycle delivery.

    + Proficiency in Appian SAIL, Process Modeler, Rules, Expressions, Documents, and Knowledge Center.

    + Experience in data management using CDTs, XSDs, and SQL queries.

    + Proven ability to lead offshore development teams and collaborate with stakeholders.

    + Current Appian certification

    + Experience in Appian governance and modular design principles.

    + Familiarity with performance optimization and database tuning.

    + Ability to deliver engaging demos and workshops to business users.

    + Strong communication and leadership skills.

    + Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

     

    Salary and Other Compensation

     

    The annual salary for this position is between $129,500 - $152,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

     

    This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
