Technology FP&A Senior Analyst

As a valued member of the Technology FP&A team, the Senior Analyst is a financial subject matter expert of the Enterprise Technology organizations, as well as a trusted business partner to IT & Business stakeholders. The position will be data, process and analytically driven, with the objective to provide valuable financial data and insights to IT and Finance leaders driving decision making, financial results and planned earnings impact.
You will
+ Manage the end-to-end financial processes of the Enterprise Technology organization, including (but not limited to) planning, forecasting, variance analytics and allocations.
+ Analyze and deliver the 3-year financial plan, incorporating system transitions, staffing, market trends, strategic priorities and implemented projects.
+ Partner with key IT stakeholders by providing valuable insight into their monthly financial results, including projected results for the fiscal year. Convey and articulate financial impact of decisions.
+ Maintain staffing data and corresponding financial impacts, in partnership with IT stakeholders and Human Resource business partners.
+ Incorporate outer year impacts including staffing changes, planned retirements and business support into 3-year financial plan.
+ Drive insights and analytics that provide technology leadership transparency into risks and opportunities of departmental expenses and spending trends, providing recommendations on efficiencies and/or risk mitigation.
+ Partner with Sourcing to effectively capture fiscal impact of vendor spend and contractual obligations.
+ Identify and deliver opportunities that enhance processes through automation, offshoring, or elimination.
You have
+ 3-7 years of finance/accounting experience.
+ Strong knowledge of financial analytics.
+ Experience using Oracle and SmartView a plus but not required.
+ Ability to meet tight deadlines and work additional hours during peak sessions.
+ Strong analytical skills and ability to multi-task, prioritize deliverables and support multiple business partners.
+ Ability to create professional analyses and present to senior leadership.
+ Ability to be a trusted business partner and to work in a team environment.
+ Strong communication & organizational skills.
+ Strong Excel skills (Macros, V-lookups, etc.)
+ Willingness to learn and grow on the job.
+ Ability to make suggestions to management based on analysis and work independently.
Location
Hybrid role - 3 days in office in the Hudson Yards, NYC office; 2 days WFH
Salary Range:
$80,940.00 - $132,975.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
