    Pay Range : $28-$33/hour

     

    Additional $ 1.50 shift differential from 6am-6pm

     

    Shift: 2nd shift

     

    Hours: 6pm-6am

This is a full-time position within our XX food manufacturing facility with opportunities for advancement!

    Responsibilities:

    + Perform thorough daily inspections and maintenance on refrigeration systems, including air conditioners, compressors, evaporators, boilers, and REM evaporative coils, ensuring proper lubrication, coolant levels, airflow, and defrost cycles.

    + Execute complex repairs and complete overhauls on refrigeration equipment; isolate and service ammonia systems, replace valves and pumps, reset compressors, and calibrate temperature probes and CO2 monitors.

    + Install, replace, and maintain motors, pumps, switches, safety controls, solenoids, and fuses across refrigeration areas, while managing refrigeration parts inventory and maintaining accurate maintenance records.

    + Assist with setup, teardown, fabrication, and installation of plant equipment; support major repairs and construction for plant buildings and stationary machinery.

    + Comply with all facility safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Confined Space, Respiratory Protection, and Fall Protection; participate in Hazmat training and team activities to ensure a safe work environment.

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED required ; two-year degree in a specialized maintenance trade preferred.

    + 2 + year s of related refrigeration maintenance experience, including knowledge of boilers and ammonia compressors.

    + Ability to safely use air-purifying respirators (APR), Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), and obtain Hazmat certification.

    + Advanced electrical and mechanical maintenance skills; ability to obtain necessary licenses such as boiler and forklift certifications.

    + Physically capable of lifting up to 90 lbs. and committed to following all company, local, state, and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
