The **Associate Director** **– Strategy and Operations, Immunology** will support immunology TA strategy and operations by providing portfolio analysis and leading and executing strategic and operational projects. This position will engage with cross-functional teams in global and regions to communicate and embed our TA strategy and processes and ultimately maximize J&J’s pipeline and in-line value.
Responsibilities:
Build and lead industry leading projects and processes that shape business strategies:
+ Develop portfolio analysis and collate disease area analysis to support strategic decision making in collaboration with Global Commercial Insights Leaders and R&D portfolio team
+ Communicate, coordinate and project manage global initiatives. Create comprehensive, cross-functional plans for key projects. In partnership with business and regional owners. Execute and track progress to plan – reporting outcomes to leadership. Example projects may include supporting marketing excellence and market shaping roll out, Immunology leadership narrative etc…
Build and lead industry leading projects and processes that shape business strategies:
+ Support GCSO immunology commercial operations, proactively identify continuous process improvements. E.g. Business plan
+ Develop and leverage project management tools and key performance indicators for the global immunology TA
Partner with regions and cross-functional stakeholders:
+ Partner with regions and global stakeholders on strategic processes (annual budget planning, strategic & operational projects)
+ Drive best practice sharing across stakeholder groups
+ Partner with regions and global stakeholders on strategic KPI tracking (performance, launch)
+ Optimally communicate across a variety of teams, regions and functions. Provide timely and engaging updates to leadership. Report essential updates around key initiatives
Qualifications:
+ BA/BS required; MS/MBA preferred
+ 5+ years of related experience required
+ 3+ years of experience in Pharma/Biotech required
+ Demonstrated experience within and/or directly supporting Commercial pharmaceutical business
+ Advanced communication and presentation skills required
+ Advanced ability in identifying opportunities, effectively developing business cases and pull through solutions
+ Expertise in creating cross functional teams and business structures to collaboratively solve complex challenges
+ Advanced ability to effectively influence senior leaders and colleagues at all levels of the organization
+ Advanced ability to identify and drive improvement in ways of working, GCI processes, tools and technology, to enable improved effectiveness or efficiency
+ High degree of intellectual curiosity; strong learning agility and demonstrated success solving ambiguous business issues
+ Strong experience with PMO tools, data visualization or equivalent
+ Demonstrated launch experience, pre- and post-launch planning and track-record of success preferred
