Position : Nurse Supervisor (House Supervisor)
Location : Nantucket, MA
Pay : $3,309/Week. Free housing, Stipends Included
Hours : 36
Shift : D/N Rotates
Description: 36 hours per week, rotating shifts. Mass RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS required. Shared housing provided at no cost. The Clinical Nursing Supervisor is a key administrative and support role in Patient Care Services. This position provides leadership and guidance while promoting competence and excellence in care for patients/families across the continuum. The position will assume hospital wide oversight and serve as onsite administrative resource after hours.
Required: 2+ years of nurse supervisor experience, MA RN license
The Nursing Supervisor assumes authority, responsibility, and accountability for the delivery of nursing services in the facility. The Director of Nursing oversees the clinical support staff to ensure that the standards of patient care are maintained.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Current/valid Registered Nurse license in state of assignment required
+ Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
+ Prior supervisor or leadership in nursing experience preferred
+ Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional administrative personnel.
+ Knowledge of current federal and state laws and regulations
+ Ability to make presentations before top management, public groups, and staff.
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
