Salary: $3499 / Week

The CAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician. These cross-sectional images provide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essential for accurate diagnostics. The CAT/CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist also performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.

Minimum Requirements:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

+ One (1) year of experience as a CAT/CT Technologist preferred.

+ Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging

+ A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications

+ Current CPR if applicable

+ TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age

Job Description:

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is urgently seeking experienced CAT Scan Techs for a reputable facility in San Leandro, CA . This is a travel opportunity for professionals ready to make an impact in a dynamic radiology/cardiology department.

Responsibilities:

+ Perform both CT and X-ray duties

+ Provide imaging support to the Operating Room (OR) as needed

+ Adapt to varying shift needs based on department demand

Shift Details:

+ Primary Coverage: Days and Evenings

+ Possible Mid-Shift Coverage

+ Scheduled Shift: 5x8-Hour Days

+ Hours: 07:00 AM – 3:30 PM

+ Weekly Hours: 40

Requirements:

+ Certifications:

+ ARRT (R)

+ BLS

+ CST

+ Fluoroscopy Certification

+ Experience: Minimum 2 years in CT and X-ray

+ Travel-Ready and available to start September 29
