Summary You will serve as a Telecommunications Specialist in the HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND. Responsibilities You will develop theater policy and multinational agreements for the development of TDL (Tactical Data Link) architectures. You will provide TDL (Tactical Data Link) technical support, training, and advice to foreign militaries in support of exercise planning and execution. You will provide program/project management to achieve TDL (Tactical Data Link) interoperability goals, objectives, and requirements. You will develop and maintain current, accurate, TDL (Tactical Data Link) information on the J69 Microsoft Share Point Portal to include all key documents and allied papers. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-13: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1.) Utilizing a wide range of communications, networks, computers, and communications systems management principles, concepts, techniques, practices, and procedures to enable the incumbent to accomplish integrated telecommunications support planning, development, programming, budgeting, and implementation; 2.) Providing Tactical Data Link technical support, training, and advice to foreign militaries in support of exercise planning and execution to include assisting and coordinating U.S. exercise planners to facilitate combined communications interoperability; 3.) Reviewing, analyzing, and resolving difficult and complex telecommunications problems to support joint/combined command interfacing with national level agencies; 4.) Managing and implementing large scale projects using knowledge of Multi-Tactical Data Link network architectures and Joint Data Network systems. GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1.) Assisting with a wide range of communications, networks, computers, and communications systems management principles, concepts, techniques, practices, and procedures to enable the incumbent to accomplish integrated telecommunications; 2.) Working knowledge of Multi-Tactical Data Link network architectures and Joint Data Network systems; 3.) Interfacing with national level agencies and internation activities; 4.) Participate in planning process as Tactical Data Link Specialist.
