Curia Global Inc. (Burlington, MA) seeks a Procurement Operations Specialist II. Responsible for assisting w/all aspects of Operational Procurement, includ. participating in project mgmt. of Procurement projects at site & “in country” sourcing & negotiations. This role covers both direct & indirect goods & services & entail the active engagement of specialist Curia Procurement resources around the world.
Specifically, the Procurement Operations Specialist II will perform the following duties:
• Ensuring materials are available for production according to schedule, ensuring inventory is minimized & assisting with cash mgmt. optimization;
• Contribute towards the construction of a multiyear program of cost savings initiatives;
• Negotiate and establish pricing and/or contracts with local suppliers with terms favorable to Curia;
• Exe. local eSourcing activities incl. training of suppliers & running events within the guidelines provided & asst. to construct the monthly eSourcing plan;
• Help manage the site cash effectively by ensuring the economic order quantities are appropriate, pymt terms are maximized and MRP exception messages (EXDX) are regularly reviewed & exe.;
• Provide supp. to &collaborate with Category Mgmt team by promoting estab category strategies to internal stakeholders & ensuring that purchase orders are placed on-time and comply w/strategic agreements & terms set at the local level;
• Liaise with Quality/Regulatory depts. & help to ensure supplier material is qualified on time for expected use, help prepare monthly alternate supplier qualification (ASQ) reports;
• Help to monitor metrics & KPIs to assess the health & quality of all procurement-related activities on site, ensuring the timely delivery of services & goods, proper alignment w/the Organization’s comm. & contractual requirements, mitigation of risk & accurate & timely payment for goods & services;
• Construct business cases related to plant savings for submission to & recording by the Global Procurement Organization;
• Asst. w/ the capture of cost savings & avoidance during purch. ord. placement while ensuring coordination w/global & regional contracts;
• Act as a site contact for all Procurement Operations rel. questions, feedback, transformations or svc. escalations in coordination w/local Procurement Mgr.;
• Help maintain Supplier Relationships &prepares rel. reports incl. Performance Mgmt. & Risk Mgmt. at a country level;
• Assist w/Contract Mgmt. (local suppliers) referring to Legal as req. w/assistance from Procurement Mgr.;
• Identify new potential suppliers, execute Supplier Selection & conduct negotiations (country level) according to the prescribed programs & category strategies;
• Provide ERP system training to internal stakeholders;
• Review & execute required actions on the Past Due purchase orders report daily to ensure receipt of goods & to ensure suppliers’ pymt. terms are not compromised;
• Perform the day-to-day Procurement Operations at the Site, as part of a team that provides policy & process enforcement, supplier onboarding, transaction mgmt. & fiscal respons.;
• Execute the end-to-end process rel. to std. purchase order-based procure to pay process incl. purchase order prep. & placement, change notices, coordinating supplier returns, expediting/de-expediting, past due purchase orders & invoice issue resolution;
• Help drive cont. improvement & simplification of local procurement processes in alignment w/Global Procurement operations goal to reduce the admin. burden at all Sites through elimination/automation of nonvalue-added activities;
• Perform implementation, change mgmt. & adoption of Global Procurement standards, processes & procedures (including assisting w/training to internal customers, local documentation and/or communications as req.);
• Resp. for awareness and compliance of procurement policies, processes, and systems of procurement policies, processes, and systems and compliance with those at the local & Devel. and maintain effective working relations with business partners and stakeholders both internal and external.
REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field. Three (3) years of experience in the Supply Chain field, which includes one (1) year of experience with the following:
• Utilizing Oracle or SAP ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning);
• Inventory management and demand forecasting; and
• Performing contract negotiations with vendors and using Power BI dashboards to analyze performance.
OR
A Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field. One (1) year of experience in a position in the supply chain field, which includes one (1) year of experience with the following:
• Utilizing Oracle or SAP ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning);
• Inventory management and demand forecasting; and
• Performing contract negotiations with vendors and using Power BI dashboards to analyze performance.
