Days: Full Time, Part Time, Per Diem
$41.00 - $46.15/ hour

What will I do as an Occupational Therapist for The Wesley Community?
Our Occupational Therapists work closely with our residents to restore activities of daily living . A few of the most common duties and responsibilities required of our Occupational Therapists include:
+ Evaluate and develop treatment plans for residents based on their medical diagnoses.
+ Implement treatment plans to improve residents' goals toward functional independence.
+ Assess and document residents' progress in detailed re-certifications, progress reports, and daily notes.
+ Maintain resident confidence by ensuring the confidentiality of all information.
+ Maintain documentation of resident care services by auditing resident and department records.
+ Assume responsibility for clinically supervising occupational therapy assistants.
+ Participate in care plan meetings and contribute to related documentation.
+ Plan, develop, and organize OT-related reports and data tracking as directed by the Rehab Director.
+ Assist in departmental projects as needed.
Occupational Therapist Requirements:
+ Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
+ Current New York State Occupational Therapist License.
+ Experience in Subacute and/or Long-Term Care is a plus, though not required.
