    • About the Role

     

    We’re looking for a dedicated Campus Access Control Specialist to join our team and help us continue delivering the level of care our patients and families deserve. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of our team, ensuring excellent service, collaboration, and patient outcomes in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You'll assume responsibility for providing a safe and secure atmosphere for patrons and employees of the organization by utilizing the Visitor Management System at the designated Access Control Points.

     

    • What You’ll Do

    + Utilize the hospital’s Visitor Management System at the assigned Access Control Point.

    + Provide wayfinding for patrons as required.

    + Notify the Campus Access Control Coordinator when the Visitor Management System requires supplies or experiences any issues outside normal operating parameters.

    + Assist with parking visitors/patients' vehicles for those with mobility issues or other needs.

    + Patrols front loop and triage loop to maintain safety and ensure parking compliance.

    + Notifies Public Safety for assistance with disorderly persons or other security concerns if required.

    + Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in alignment with Saratoga Hospital values.

    + Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support health, healing, and service excellence.

    + Perform responsibilities with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

    + Use hospital systems and tools to document care and support operations.

    + Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and support patient and staff satisfaction.

    + Serve as a positive, professional representative of our hospital and community.

    • What You Bring

    + High school diploma (or GED equivalent), a current, valid NY State Security Guard License and a valid, clean, NY State Driver's License is required. Successful candidates must be at least 21 years of age and be able to obtain approval to drive under the Saratoga Hospital auto insurance policy.

    + Minimum of 6 months experience in a customer service position preferred.

    + Maintains yearly wheelchair competencies.

    + Strong communication and teamwork skills.

    + Commitment to providing patient-first, high-quality service.

    + Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
